Stewart Stamping Corp. and Eyelets For Industry, Inc. (Stewart EFI), Yonkers, NY, has been acquired from Insilco Technologies, Inc. New owners are an investor group named Stewart EFI, LLC, comprised of current and former management of Stewart EFI, including: Dan Stokes, chairman and CEO; Bernie Roselli, president; Phil Rejeski, v.p. of operations and general manager; and John Labas, v.p. of sales and marketing. Stewart EFI employs more than 300 with operations in Yonkers, Thomaston, CT and El Paso, TX. The Taylor-Winfield Corp., Brookfield, OH, and German manufacturer HBS Studwelding Inc. have allied to supply metalworking companies with equipment for resistance welding, drawn-arc and capacitor-discharge stud welding, as well as weld studs and automation equipment. Together, the firms provide application engineering and prototyping, training, machine rebuilding, portable welding equipment, automatic bowl feeders for stud,s and resistance-welding electrodes and peripherals.
