Turbo Combustor Technology Inc., Stuart, FL, has installed a six-axis model 790XL BeamDirector Nd:Yag laser-drilling system from Laserdyne Systems, Champlin, MN. Turbo Combustor manufactures combustors and complex sheetmetal fabrications from its 110,000-sq.-ft. facility staffed by more than 350 employees. The new laser-drilling system is the 12th system installed at the firm in the last 14 years. It features an 80- by 40- by 40-in. work envelope and a 16-in.-dia. rotary table. Learn more at

Lincoln Electric Announces
Welding School Schedule for Remainder of 2007

The Lincoln Electric (Cleveland, OH) Welding School has announced its schedule for the second half of the year. Classes range from a six-week basic course to an advanced 15-week comprehensive course, as well as one-week classes on specific welding processes. Students spend 80 percent of their time in the booth learning to weld. And, class size is limited to 15 students to maximize one-on-one instruction time. Visit
