Lincoln Electric Announces
Welding School Schedule for Remainder of 2007

The Lincoln Electric (Cleveland, OH) Welding School has announced its schedule for the second half of the year. Classes range from a six-week basic course to an advanced 15-week comprehensive course, as well as one-week classes on specific welding processes. Students spend 80 percent of their time in the booth learning to weld. And, class size is limited to 15 students to maximize one-on-one instruction time. Aida Expanding in United States and Japan

Aida is expanding its Aida-America Corp. press-manufacturing facility in Dayton, OH, by 17,600 sq. ft., to bring welding, fabrication and machining capabilities inhouse. The expansion should be completed by July 2007, and will include a 165-ton overhead bridge crane to handle components for large presses. The firm also plans to build a new factory in Sagamihara, Japan, totaling more than 37,000 sq. ft. The new factory should be completed by August 2007.
