Ultra-Flat Blank Line Sold to Singer Steel Co.

Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL, has sold a ½-in. cut-to-length line, with a stretcher leveler and SCS sheet-cleaning line, to Singer Steel Co. for its service center in Streetsboro, OH. The line allows the service center to produce ultra-flat blanks from coils as wide as 75 in, weighing as much as 80,000 lb. The SCS line takes hot-rolled black material through an environmentally process to produce a smooth, clean and paintable surface that resists rust without the use of oils. Learn more at
