Bradbury Group, Metform International
form Strategic Alliance

The Bradbury Group, Moundridge, KS, has formed a strategic alliance with Metform International Ltd., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Under the alliance, the companies will share technology and cooperate in various markets across North, Central and South America. The Bradbury Group will continue focusing on its core markets of metal buildings, steel framing, components, sectional garage doors, levelers and integrated control systems while Metform will focus on heavy-gauge rollforming, automotive and coil processing. Both companies have common experience in decking and custom-rollforming marketplaces. The alliance allows the two companies to serve every industry segment within the rollforming and coil-processing marketplaces, according to Chad Bradbury, senior manager of business development for the Bradbury Group.

Forum to Probe Future of Steel Industry

Servo Tandem-Roll Feed

Press Room Equipment Co., Springfield, MO, recently shipped an electronic servo-driven tandem-roll-feed system to a manufacturer of storage rack systems. The system features two electronic servo-driven roll feeds mounted on the entrance and exit side of the customer’s press. The feeds have special profiled rolls designed to feed 40-ft.-long channel material through a punching and shear station in the press. The punching and shear stations are controlled electronically through the controls on the roll-feed system.
