Eight Hydraulic Presses Headed to Audi Plants

Dieffenbacher GmbH has received an order for eight hydraulic tryout presses from Audi for plants in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm, Germany, and in Gyor, Hungary. The presses, with a pressing force of 16,000 kN and 25,000 kN and sliding tables measuring 5000 by 2500 mm, include eight-point die cushions, parallel motion control and PC control. Agie Opens Southeast Center of Excellence

Agie Ltd., Lincolnshire, IL, a supplier of EDM equipment, has opened a 7500-sq.-ft. Center of Excellence in Charlotte, NC. It will serve as a national aftermarket and service center and regional demonstration facility.
