Orbitform Buys Maker of Impact-Riveting Equipment

Greenerd Delivers Large-Bed Press to Rheem

Greenerd Press & Machine Co., Inc., Nashua, NH, has supplied a large-bed hydraulic press to Rheem Manufacturing Air Conditioning Division, Fort Smith, AR. The new machine, replacing a mechanical press, will form, blank and punch a variety of air-conditioner parts for Rheem. The 150-ton press features a 144 by 48-in. bed offering daylight of 24 in. and an 18-in. stroke. It enables an operator to center-load dies, and its 6-in. color touchscreen control stores all press parameters for as many as 150 jobs.
