Coil-Processing Seminar Includes Plant Tour

Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL, will host a coil-processing seminar in West Chester (Cincinnati), OH, on June 24 at the Wingate by Windham & Meridian Conference Center. Attendees will learn about blanking and multiblanking, leveling, and slitting, as well as the SCS and EPS processes for hot-rolled black material. Website Hosts Dozens of Machine-Vision Case Studies

Cognex Corp., Natick, MA, a manufacturer of machine-vision sensors and systems, has launched a new website at www.cognex.com that hosts more than 80 application case studies, selectable by industry and application, illustrating how manufacturing companies benefit from the use of machine vision. The Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, KS, has acquired Magnet Applications Group Ltd. (MAGL), with manufacturing operations in Berkhamsted, England, and Dubois, PA. MAGL manufactures bonded magnets, precision magnetic assemblies and complementary magnet products. Bunting manufactures magnetic separation equipment, conveyors and other magnetic products, and also maintains a manufacturing and distribution facility in Elk Grove Village, IL; www.buntingmagnetics.com.
