Roll-Kraft Orders New ERP Program

New enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) software on the way to Roll-Kraft, Mentor, OH, builder of tube- and pipe-mill rolls, should be fully operational during the third quarter of 2003. The firm expects the new ERP software to increase integration of day-to-day information and services to its customers and vendors. Advanced-planning features will allow adjustment of resources to meet shipping expectations. Pegged fur future expansion of the program is the availability online of up-to-the-minute information on manufacturing and delivery schedules to customers.
K & S Tool & Die Receives ISO Certification

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, OH, has signed a partnership agreement with Genesis Systems Group, Davenport, IA, to represent the company’s Platformation brand of products. Platformation products include the Genesis array of robotic positioners and platforms used to build robotic welding cells, and will complement the welding power supplies and Fanuc robotic arms offered by Lincoln Electric.
