Fabricator’s New Production Cell
to Feature HMC and Two Robotic Welders

D&S Manufacturing, Black River Falls, WI, announced plans to invest in a new production cell centered around a Toyoda FA800 horizontal machining center (31.5 by 31.5-in. pallet size, 40-hp spindle motor), flanked by a pair of six-axis ABB robotic welders. D&S manufactures large-scale components and assemblies for a customer list that includes Caterpillar, Oshkosh Corp. and The Trane Co. Its capabilities include machining, laser and plasma-arc cutting, and manual and robotic welding;

Metalformer Launches Spanish Website

Waukesha Metal Products, a supplier of metal stampings, fabricated sheetmetal components and tooling, has launched a Spanish version of its website. The site includes translated equipment lists and a description of its capabilities, photographs and translated captions, RFQ forms and company news. The firm ships more than 30 percent of its products into Mexico;

PhotoFabrication Engineering, Inc. (PEI), Milford, MA, a manufacturer of custom and standard photoetched metal parts, has launched a new website complete with process diagrams and technical etching guidelines. Also, the firm says that the site——includes an industry first: an interactive template that allows users to design their own seam-sealed microelectronic package lids online. PEI etches most metal alloys, including stainless steels, copper, brass, silver, titanium and specialty alloys.
