Atlantic Tool & Die, Strongsville, OH, will open a new $9.3 million plant in Seville, OH, by September 1, 2006. It’s investing $3.94 million in land and in a 51,000-sq.-ft. building, and another $5.36 million in machinery and equipment. New Laser-Drilling System Delivered to Ebtec

Laserdyne Systems, Champlin, MN, has delivered a Nd:YAG drilling system to Ebtec Corp., Agawam, MA, a supplier of parts to various North American industries. The Laserdyne 790XL BeamDirector is a six-axis laser driller with a work envelope of 40 by 40 by 40 in. and a 25-in.-dia. high-accuracy rotary table. Its software component helps deliver parts in rapid cycle times with improved flow consistency, according to Laserdyne officials.
