New Blanking, Slitting Lines at Service Center

Newly installed at High Steel Service Center Inc., Lancaster, PA, is a high-speed multi-cut blanking line and a high speed slitting line, both from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL. The installs allow high-volume production of close-tolerance blanks at High Steel, and also enable the service center to expand its slitting output.

Users of Machine Shop Estimating (MSE), from Micro Estimating Systems, will soon have one-click access to RFQs on mfgquote.com, thanks to a strategic partnership between MfgQuote and OnCourse Technologies, parent company of Micro Estimating. The partnership also has identified ways to make the site and software more seamless, which will be available in coming versions of MSE.
