Phoenix Metals, Norcross, GA, installed a 72-in. multi-cut blanking line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL, at its newest facility in Middletown, OH. The line can process mild steel to 0.135 in. thick and stainless steel to 0.105 in. as presently configured, and the firm may add an additional leveler to the line to take stainless-steel capacity to 0.250 in. Michigan Roll Form, Inc., Fraser, MI, acquired the intellectual property and inventory of Tru-Tech Tool and Machine Co., Muskegon, MI, a manufacturer of rollforming machinery and related tooling including turnkey lines and systems, presses and coil-handling equipment, and stationary and flying dies. The acquisition includes all machine and tooling designs, parts inventory, engineering drawings, and sales records, as well as exclusive rights to the company’s brand name, copyrights and trademarks.
