Seminar Addresses a Hot
Metalforming Topic: Hot Stamping

Monday, March 17, 2008

The hot-stamping metalforming process has picked up a lot of steam in recent months for forming automotive safety components, A & B pillars and other parts made of difficult-to-form advanced-high-strength steels. That’s why the timing of this one-day seminar on hot stamping couldn’t be better. The seminar, scheduled for April 16 in Dearborn, MI, will review part design for hit stamping; hot-stamping-line automation and integration; tool design, build and debug; hydraulic-press and furnace technology; automated quick-die-change systems; and pre- and post-processing. AP&T hosts the event; learn more at www.apt-usa.com/hot_stamping_seminar.php.
