Future Products Adds Five-Axis CNC Machining Center

A new Hermle C 400 five-axis CNC machining center has landed on the production floor of Future Products, Clawson, MI, a manufacturer of precision die tooling and machined components.  The machine excels in milling complex geometries while retaining precision and optimum surface finishes. “We are proud to be the first company in the United States to install this state-of-the-art machine,” says company president Irvin Swider. Trumpf Cuts the Ribbon on New Laser-Development Facility

A new 6200-sq.-m facility in Schramberg-Sulgen, Germany, has become the home of solid-state laser development for Trumpf Laser GmbH + Co. The project, an investment of 13.5 million euros, allows the firm to consolidate all of its laser-development efforts under one roof.
