SKI Industries Creates Bending-Machine
Design, Building and Service Company

SKI Industries, Inc., Shelby Township, MI, has created Forming Technologies LLC, a company that designs and builds standard and special automatic and semi-automatic bending machines for tubing, solid stock or extruded materials. The company also provides repair, rebuild and retrofit services for other bending-machine models. Forming Technologies has established a product line that includes SKI shape and tube benders offered in CNC and semi-automatic models with diameter capacities from 0.25 to 6 in. Also offered are control retrofits and upgrades that feature BendPro multi-axis bender controls; a complete stock of replacement parts for the Pines line of benders; and complete repair, rebuild and retrofit services for manual and CNC benders of all makes. In addition, the company has developed and applied for patents on Most, a new manual orienting and sequencing attachment that reportedly provides simple adjustments for part rotation and orientation.
