Methods Machine Tools Adds L.A. Location
to Aid Marketing Alliance
Friday, February 06, 2004
Methods Machine Tools has added a new location in southern California. The facility, at 6200 Artesia Blvd., Buena Park, is part of a new marketing alliance between MA-based Methods and Sel Machine Tool Co., Union City, CA, a West Coast distributor and Methods representative.
“Joining forces with Sel means we will have more engineers and service technicians to provide better response times, expert advice, training and technical support,” says Bryon Deysher Methods president. “In addition to a larger sales force, this alliance also means larger inventories of machine tools and spare parts (as well as a larger showroom).”
Methods supplies precision machine tools, such as CNC machining centers and EDM machines, and accessories, and is headquartered in Sudbury, MA.

That’s according to Moody’s Investor Service in its 2004 Outlook for the Industry report. In addition, suppliers should be able to generate cash flow and pay down debts. In 2004, Moody’s expects light vehicle production to rise 3 percent to 16.3 million vehicles.
