Bradbury Machinery (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. has moved from its previous headquarters in Shanghai to another larger facility nearby. Welding Inspection, Quality-Control Course

Hobart Institute of Welding Technology will be offering its Arc Welding Inspection and Quality Control Course in Troy, OH, February 28 through March 4. According to Hobart instructors, the course helps provide a solid background in welding-defect analysis and weldment testing, and assists in establishing or supporting a weld quality-control program. Tower Goes Chapter 11

Auto-parts supplier Tower Automotive, Detroit, MI, filed for bankruptcy yesterday (Wednesday, Feb. 2) in the face of high steel prices and reduced automotive production volumes, according to an AP story. Analysts do not see doom and gloom, and expect the company to survive the debt restructuring. Meanwhile, Tower has secured enough financing, says one analyst, to continue normal business operations during its reorganization process.
