Fanuc Robotics Expands in South America

Fanuc Robotics America, Inc., Rochester Hills, MI, has expanded its operations in Brazil with a move to a 22,000-sq.-ft. facility in Sao Paulo. The majority of its floor space in the new facility, according to Jose Teixeira, general manager of Fanuc Robotics do Brazil Ltda., is dedicated to systems engineering, assembly, integration and customer demonstrations. The firm provides robotic systems for welding, machine tending, palletizing and packing, paint finishing and laser processing.
