Metaldyne Supplying Tubes
to Visteon for Late-2002 Vehicles

The Metaldyne Tubular Products facility in Hamburg, MI, has begun supplying exhaust components to Visteon Corp. for late-2002 model year Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable vehicles. Specifically, it’s manufacturing Y pipes and outlet and inlet pipes.
Impax Tooling Expands its Mfg. Facility

Stamping punches and dies will be manufactured more efficiently than ever at Impax Tooling Solutions, a division of Wilson Tool Intl., White Bear Lake, MN, thanks to new CNC machinery added to the firm’s metalworking facility. Impax special shapes are available with CNC straight-line grinding to minimize friction, dimpling, metal pickup and galling, all of which helps to maximize punch life.
