Ebtec Installs New Laser-Drilling System

Laserdyne Systems, Champlin, MN, has delivered a Nd:YAG drilling system to Ebtec Corp., Agawam, MA, a supplier of parts to various North American industries. The Laserdyne 790XL BeamDirector is a six-axis laser driller with a work envelope of 40 by 40 by 40 in. and a 25-in.-dia. high-accuracy rotary table. Schuler Earns Silver Supplier Award
from Shanghai Volkswagen

Schuler AG has earned a Silver Supplier award from Shanghai Volkswagen in the category of General Procurement. The award recognizes Schuler for its supply of two triple-action press lines (lead hydraulic presses backed by mechanical presses) to the car company, which is using the lines to produce parts for the Passat passenger car in China.
