12-Ton-Capacity Die Table
at Automotive-Parts Supplier

Serapid, Inc., Sterling Heights, MI, has designed and built a 12-ton-capacity die table, using its RollBeam telescopic push-pull actuator, to enable quick die changes at an automotive-parts supplier. The table handles dies to 54 by 120 in. and indexes 110 in. in and out of the press at speeds to 10 ft./min. A pair of engineered bolster extensions hinged at the die table provide a retractable 42-in. bridge to keep the area clear during production. Learn more at

John Deere Horicon Welcomes
New Press-Feed Line

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, has shipped a new press-feed line to John Deere Horicon Works in Wisconsin to handle coil width to 18 in. and coil weight to 10,000 lb. The line can process steel to 1/4 in. thick by 8 in. wide, at 50,000-PSI yield strength and attain a roll speed of 80 ft./min. The plant manufactures lawn and garden tractors and lawnmowers.
