Leifeld Takes on Lisse Line of Leveling Machines

Leifeld USA Metal Spinning, Colorado Springs, CO, has taken over representation for Lisse machines in North America. Lisse, of Louvroil, France, manufactures critical-tolerance leveling machines for coil and sheet. The machines include patented felt-coated intermediate rolls and an automatic device for cleaning the leveling rolls. The firm also provides two- to four-roll bending and curving machines. Magna’s Cosma Group Increases
its Metal-Stamping Presence in Eastern Europe

Cosma Intl., Aurora, Ontario, Canada, an operating unit of Magna Intl. Inc., acquired Vyroba Automotivnych Biotnikov (VAB), of Tychy in southern Poland. The acquisition expands Cosma’s class-A and body-structure stamping capacity and its presence in the Eastern European market. The VAB facility, adjacent to a Cosma assembly plant, boasts 150,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

Mitsubishi Laser Partners with
Automation-Software Provider

To optimize the productivity and versatility of its flexible manufacturing systems, Mitsubishi Laser, Wood Dale, IL, has partnered with Ncell Automation (, Minnetonka, MN, a supplier of software solutions designed specifically for laser automation. Ncell software, which will enable lights-out unattended operations of Mitsubishi’s equipment, includes a management interface to remotely manage all laser cells from a desktop computer, automatically updating schedules and eliminating manual entry. The software also alerts shop personnel when an error occurs at a laser cell. Learn more at
