ATS to Sell Precision Metals Division to Autocam

ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc., Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, has entered into a definitive agreement to sell the assets of its precision metals division, Kitchener, Ontario, to Autocam Corp., Kentwood, MI. The transaction is expected to close in January 2006.
ATS (
www.atsautomation.com) designs and produces turnkey automated manufacturing and test systems and also makes precision components and subassemblies. Autocam (
www.autocam.com) provides precision machining , finishing and measuring services.
Expanded-Metal Manufacturers to Meet in Florida

The Expanded Metals Manufacturers Association (EMMA) will hold its Spring Conference on Amelia Island in Florida, April 22-24, 2006, and EMMA extends an invitation to any North American expanded-metal manufacturer interested in becoming a member.
The association’s purpose is to promote the uses of expanded-metal products with building professionals through publication of technical information, new product development and capabilities. EMMA also provides a forum for the exchange of information on the expanded-metals industry.
