Moves Into New Headquarters

Burke Industrial Coatings has moved its corporate offices, laboratory and warehouse into a larger location at 6200 NE Campus Dr., Vancouver, WA. With the move, the company, a manufacturer of industrial coatings, increases warehouse space by 200 percent.
The company maintains an active laboratory and development program for its coating products, used to protect equipment from harsh production environments.

Genesis Systems Group Earns
Quick-Change-Tooling Patent

Genesis Systems Group (GSG), Davenport, IA, has been awarded a U.S. patent for its Quick Change Tooling. The unique design is said to be ideal for any industry with a medium-to-high mix of parts or high-changeover applications. By reducing downtime when changing out tools to run a variety of parts, the tooling provides for optimal machine utilization and maximum throughput. Its design reportedly offers a simple one-step process to release the tool from the p
ositioner. A repeatable self-alignment system reduces unnecessary wear and eliminates the need for precision alignment due to moving, bumping or initial workcell setup. For safety, a self-engaging latch holds the fixture in place
GSG is an integrator of robotic cutting and welding systems.
