Trumpf to Open Sales, Service Facility in Mexico City

Trumpf Inc., Farmington, CT, is set to open a sales and service facility in Mexico City, Mexico. It will move its Mexican operations from Monterrey, Mexico, to this new site to provide a more centralized location, according to company officials. Heading a five-person staff in the 2100-sq.-ft. facility will be operations manager Ralf Weiss. The new address is German Centre 0-2-2, Av. Santa Fe #170, Lomas de Santa Fe, Mexico D.F. 01210, Mexico. Trumpf offerings in North America include CNC punching machines; laser cutting, marking and welding machinery; press brakes; punch and press-brake tooling; CAD/CAM software and portable power tools.

Delphi Awards Precision Stamping Contract

The Mechatronic Systems Group of Delphi Automotive has awarded AMI DODUCO a contract to develop and produce electrical-contact component assemblies for a multipurpose module to control automotive flashers, turn signals and windshield wipers. AMI DODUCO, based in Export, PA and with locations throughout North America, Europe and Asia, will supply component subassemblies of precision-stamped electrical-contact parts insert-molded into plastic frames.
