UniPunch Opens Wisconsin Facility

Wednesday, December 18, 2002

UniPunch Products, a manufacturer of unitized tooling, has opened a manufacturing and distribution center in Clear Lake, WI. The facility supplements the company’s Buffalo, NY, plant in supplying unitized tooling holders, punches, dies and other components. “Geographically, Clear Lake is in the center of the country,” notes Ron Sempf, vice president of manufacturing. “Our location in the Central time zone means we have an additional hour to ship tooling orders. An additional advantage for our Midwestern and Western customers, they will receive their tooling orders more quickly.” The new climate-controlled facility boasts modern machinery such as seven-axis tooling centers and glass-scale machining centers to produce precision tooling.
