Precision Aerospace Adds Mexico Operation

Precision Aerospace, Phoenix, AZ, is completing a 13,000-sq.-ft. facility in Empalme, Sonora, Mexico, to service manufacturers in the aerospace, telecommunication, electronic and medical-device industries. Services include prototype and production CNC machining, anodizing, powder coating and silk screening as well as precision sheetmetal work for the aerospace industry. “By combining Precision Aerospace’s existing quick-prototyping experience in Phoenix with the ability to transition hardware into an affordable production environment in Mexico, the company will become a one-stop shop for existing and future clientele,” explains Jesse Jones Jr., president. Formtek Forms New Sales and Marketing Group

Formtek Inc. has formed the Formtek Group, Itasca, IL, to lead the firm’s sales and marketing efforts of its divisions: Cooper Weymouth Peterson, B&K, Dahlstrom, Hill Engineering, Iowa Precision, The Lockformer Co., Rowe, and Yoder Manufacturing. Don Hill, executive vice president, leads the new group, with the assistance of Bob Heilman, director of new market development.
