BCN Technical Services Acquires IP for Warco, Wean and McKay

Metalworking companies operating presses manufactured by Warco, Wean United Presses and McKay can now turn to BCN Technical Services, Hastings, MI, for service and support. BCN recently acquired the rights, intellectual property and inventory for those three brands from Rygate International, Sterling Heights, MI. Also, BCN has agreed to provide sales, parts and services for CNC wire-forming and spring-coiling machines from Minyu Corp. of Taiwan, and for U.S. Baird, Stratford, CT. Waukesha Metal Products Diversifies Customer Base via Acquisition

Industrial packaging machines, medical equipment and building products are just a few of the new markets that have become available to metal stamper and fabricator Waukesha Metal Products, Sussex, WI, through its acquisition of Metal Skills Plus, LLC, a metal fabricator in Deforest, WI. Ordered: The Largest Slitter in North America

A new TMK Ipsco pipe-manufacturing facility under construction in Wilder, KY, will house what’s being called the largest slitter in North America, a new 0.625- by 87-in. line. The slitter, which will be owned and operated on a toll basis for TMK Ipsco by Ferrous Metal Processing, will be capable of processing master coils from 30 to 87 in. weighing as much as 82,000 lb. More at www.tmk-ipsco.com/; read up on Ferrous Metal Processing’s slitting technology here.
