Tailout Feeders Retrofitted at Tier Two Auto Supplier

Friday, December 06, 2013

ARJ Manufacturing, Jackson, TN, a Tier 2 and 3 supplier of seats and other interior automotive components, has retrofitted tailout feeders from Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, to three coil lines feeding 500-ton progressive-die presses. The feeders, floor-mounted between each press and existing servo-feed, can retract to 38.5 in. during die changes, and extend to 56.25 in. for close positioning to the die when the lines run. Adding the secondary feeders has reduced scrap and overcome handling issues. More at www.cpec.com/.
