Roll-Kraft Acquires Canadian Tooling Company

Roll-Kraft, Mentor, OH, a supplier and rebuilder of rollforming and tube-and-pipe equipment and tooling, has acquired Empire Precision Tooling, Inc., Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Empire, a manufacturer and designer of tube-and-pipe-mill rolls and related tooling, will now be called Roll-Kraft Ltd. and serve the Canadian market in support of the main Roll-Kraft operation.

3-Dimensional Services Adds Three Laser Systems

The Laser Group of NTC America, Farmington Hills, MI, has delivered three laser systems to 3-Dimensional Services, Rochester Hills, MI, bringing to 14 the number of NTC laser-cutting systems in use by the prototype-part producer. The most recent delivery included the newest laser cutter from NTC, a high-speed TLZ three-axis system, and two TLM five-axis lasers.
3-Dimensional and its sister company, Urgent Design & Manufacturing, employ the lasers in cutting metal sheet and plate, typically within 0.002-in. tolerances.
