Feed Lease Delivers Servo Feed
to Capitol Technologies

Wednesday, December 10, 2003

Capitol Technologies, Inc., South Bend, IN, has taken delivery of a new servo roll feed from Feed Lease Corp., Rochester Hills, MI. The Model RF 4 x 42 feed, handling cold-rolled steel to 42 in. wide and 0.060 in. thick, will be used on a tryout press. Features include 4-in.-dia. crodon-surfaced feed rolls and a pull-through straightener. Sealed-for-life double-row ball bearings mean that the feed has only one grease point. Dual pneumatic cylinders provide roll lift and pilot release. The feed is mounted on an adjustable-height cabinet with a four-roll curve section, a remote jog pendant and adjustable edge guides. Controls include a PLC-based drive package and allow feed-length adjustment on the fly. For more, visit www.feedlease.com.
