Metal-roofing manufacturer Taylor Metal Products (TMP), Inc., Salem, OR, has been purchased by Pacific Northwest Capital, LLC. New Annealing Line Will Produce Stainless Wire

E.C.D. Inc., Hillside, NJ, is building a new strand annealing line for production of stainless-steel wire. In addition to wire, E.C.D. produces grades of stainless steel and carbon steel, sold in coil or bar form. The new system is expected to be in full operation by year’s end, capable of annealing and drawing 10 million lb. of stainless-steel wire annually.
M+E Machine + Engineering, Dervio, Italy, is supplying takeups for the line while Serio Wire, Varedo, Italy, is supplying the electrolytic and ultrasonic cleaning line that will operate in tandem with the system’s strand anneal furnace. Also assisting, GMP of Slovakia, which is supplying spools for payoff into the annealing furnace, and Rose Corp., Reading, PA, which has consulted on design.

Lake Erie Products Named Supplier of the Year

Lake Erie Products, Livonia, MI, a TriMas Corp. company, has been named Supplier of the Year by two companies. Cooper Standard Automotive chose Lake Erie Products over 60 other suppliers while Mark IV chose the fastener supplier over 50 other suppliers.
Lake Erie Products, made up of Entegra Fastener and Lake Erie Screw, makes small specialty fasteners and build-to-print large-diameter fasteners.
