Nothing but great news from Wiegel Tool Works, Wood Dale, IL, a progressive-die stamper of red metals such as copper, bronze and brass, as well aluminum, carbon steels and other ferrous metals. The firm, celebrating its 70th year in business, recently acquired a 25,000-sq.-ft. facility to serve as its shipping and receiving warehouse; is adding 19,500-sq.-ft. to its manufacturing plant, bringing total square footage under roof to 93,000 sq. ft. and allowing the firm to create 20 new jobs by the end of 2012; and will install, in December 2011, a new 180-ton Minster adjustable-stroke press.
