It’s been a great year for Mexico’s manufacturing sector, causing some to call Mexico an “emerging manufacturing superpower.” An article from Market Daily News summarizes, noting that Mexico’s stock exchange has been the second-best performing stock market in the world; that companies from 41 different countries are looking to build manufacturing facilities in Mexico right now; that Mexico has more free-trade agreements with other countries than any other nation in the world; and that Mexico is the world’s most energy-secure nation among the 25 largest energy-consuming countries.
