Two Coil-Fed Press Lines Headed to Lear Brazil

Two compact coil lines (SpaceMaster units from Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI) are on the to Lear Brazil, accompanying a pair of Stamtec presses equipped for progressive-die stamping of automotive components.  The coil lines, which unwind, straighten and feed coil stock, can handle stock from 0.030 to 0.156 in. thick and 3 to 32 in. wide; www.cpec.com/.

Lincoln Acquisitions Add Cutting-System Muscle

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Cleveland, OH, acquired three business units from ITT Corp.: Kaliburn, Burny and Cleveland Motion Control (CMC). Kaliburn manufactures shape-cutting machines; Burny produces cutting control systems; and CMC provides web-tension transducers and engineered machine solutions. All three businesses are consolidated in a headquarters and manufacturing operation in Landson, SC, employing 140 people and with combined annual sales of $35 million.
