Agie Charmilles Unifies Sales and Service Depts.

Agie Charmilles Corp., Lincolnshire, IL, a manufacturer of EDM and high-speed milling equipment, has merged the sales and service departments of Agie, Charmilles and Mikron in North America. Bringing the three brands into one sales channel will streamline service and application support. The firm will cross-train more than 100 service engineers in more than 30 U.S. states, and all three brands will be represented at its seven U.S. demonstration centers. Learn more at

Aida Opens New European Office

Aida Europe has opened a sales and service office in Prague, Czech Republic, called Aida Czech. It’s charged with meeting expanding manufacturing requirements in the Czech Republic and other eastern European countries such as Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
