Mega Mfg. Acquires Bertsch

Bertsch Company, Cambridge City, IN, a 120-year-old company specializing in bending-roll technology, has been acquired by Mega Manufacturing, Inc., Hutchinson, KS. Bertsch produces heavy-duty production rolls in three- and four-roll configurations; Mega manufactures the Piranha line of ironworkers, press brakes and other metal-fabrication equipment.

The Marquette brand of welding products and the Century line of welding and cutting equipment, accessories and battery-charger businesses of Clore Automotive LLC have been purchased by Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Cleveland, OH. The brands reportedly have leading positions in the automotive aftermarket and retail do-it-yourself channels.
