Trumpf Inc., Farmington, CT, has acquired fabricating-equipment distributor Advanced Fabricating Machinery (AFM) Canada, Mississauga, Ontario, to serve as a sales and spare-parts facility for Trumpf products in Canada. AFM was formed in 1997 as a joint venture between Trumpf and Robert Watson; Watson will continue to lead the company. Learn more at

Exact Metrology, Inc., Algonquin, IL, has acquired Berding 3D Scanning, Cincinnati, OH, a provider of reverse-engineering and laser-scanning services. Exact Metrology will continues to offer all of those services, as well as sell, service and implement metrology equipment from several manufacturers.
