More International Than Ever

Saturday, October 30, 2010

EuroBLECH 2010 closed its doors Saturday afternoon after welcoming 61,300 visitors who took in 1455 exhibitors from 43 countries. “After a difficult time, the sheetmetal-working industry is on the up again,” said Nicola Hamann, exhibition director, on behalf of the show’s organizers Mack Brooks Exhibitions. “EuroBLECH 2010 was more international than ever as 46 percent of our exhibitors came from outside Germany and 39 percent of the ; and we could again increase our traditionally high percentage of international visitors. 39 percent of this year’s visitors came from outside Germany, compared to 35 percent last time.” An exhibitor survey found participants highly satisfied, particularly with the comprehensive range of products on display and with the international flavor of the show. Some 75 percent of all exhibiting companies intend to exhibit again at the next show, October 23–27 in Hanover, Germany. I blogged from the show with a couple of days of highlights, and will add more later.
