Service Center Rolls Out OEM Partnership Program
Tuesday, October 24, 2006
Denman & Davis, a steel service center based in Clinton, NJ, has introduced a partnership program for its OEM customers where the center will complete early-stage fabrication such as bending, heattreating and welding prior to shipping material to those customers.
“We will deliver the materials in whatever condition our customers want,” explains Dylan Altieri, Denman & Davis marketing manager. “The material may go to several different fabricators before it’s delivered to the customer. We have the cost advantage because we can use our strategic fabricators where we may not be delivering a single piece but multiple pieces and where we can bundle the freight costs. This program passes those savings on to the OEM.”
