Visteon Expands Russian Activities

To accompany the ongoing construction of its new manufacturing facility in the Kaluga region of Russia, 100 miles southwest of Moscow, Visteon has opened an office in St. Petersburg, Russia. The new office will house engineering and manufacturing experts, and will act as a center for new-business development activities in the region. Visteon’s new Russian plant is slated to begin production in 2010.

Red Stag Adds Rigging Division

Rolled Alloys Expands Portfolio via UK Acquisition

Rolled Alloys, Temperance, MI, a provider of heat- and corrosion-resistant alloys and branded stainless steels, has acquired Weir Materials, Manchester, England. The new company, RA Materials, will offer Weir’s Zeron 100 alloy, a high-strength corrosion-resistant super-duplex stainless steel. Zeron 100 is supplied as seamless and welded pipe, butt-weld fittings, forged flanges, plates, bars, and welding consumables.
