to Win Supplier Collaboration Award

Dürr AG, a supplier of turnkey production systems and manufacturing support services for the automotive industry, has awarded the team of Rockwell Automation, Milwaukee, WI, and Dürr Paint Systems its 2003 Heinz Dürr Innovation Award for supplier collaboration.
The award recognizes the team for development of a global standardized control platform that enables Dürr to improve production efficiency for automotive manufacturers across multiple locations. Rockwell and Dürr Pint Systems developed a control platform for paint-shop manufacturing systems that reportedly decreases a manufacturer’s time to market.
Also recognized was the combination of technologies and capabilities from the two suppliers that led to new business from a major automotive manufacturer.
