Hynes, which received the award at Wabash’s recent Key Supplier Conference in Lafayette, IN, supplies rollformed roof bows, side posts and other structural and cargo restraint components for Wabash’s over-the-road trailers. Quality Tool, Inc., St. Paul, MN, has been acquired by Demmer Investments IV, Inc., an entity formed by Demmer Corp., Lansing, MI. Quality Tool operates 110,000 sq. ft. of production space in St. Paul and in a second shop in Brookings, SD, supplying stampings, fabricated- metal products and machined parts to diverse industrial, medical, telecommunications and defense-industry customers. Vertically integrated Demmer Corp. is known primarily for supplying the military market with components and assemblies for tanks, personnel carriers, bomb-resistant vehicles and the like.
