Dengensha Opens Canadian Sales Office

Dengensha America Corp., Bedford, OH, a supplier of resistance-welding and fastener-feeding equipment, has opened a Canadian sales office in Mississauga, Ontario. It has also named its first sales representative for the office-- Evan Haley, experienced with Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEM assembly operations.
3M to Acquire Welding-Safety-Equipment Provider

3M, Minneapolis, MN, has agreed to acquire Hornell Intl., a Sweden-based supplier of personal-protective equipment for welding applications. Its lineup includes Speedglas auto-darkening-filter welding helmets and respiratory-protection equipment.
