The Automotive Applications Committee of the American Iron and Steel Institute, Detroit, MI, has initiated a new toll-free hotline providing the latest information on automotive steels, with a special focus on advanced high-strength steels (AHSS). For questions on material design, compositions and manufacturing issues, such as how to reduce component mass using AHSS or how to substitute high-strength steels in existing component designs, call the hotline: 1-877-783-3546.
