Johnson Controls Selling Business Unit

Johnson Controls of Milwaukee has agreed to sell its engine-electronics business to French firm Valeo, one of Europe’s largest car-parts suppliers. The Johnson Controls business manufactures engine-management systems, engine-control units, electric motor drives and engine components, including injectors, ignition and emission-control components and sensors. Valeo is headquartered in Pontoise, France. Its electronics and electrical-systems unit makes wiper systems, motors and actuators, security systems, electrical components and lighting products.
