Centerline Engineering Gains Coil-Processing Line

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, has installed a coil-processing line at Centerline Engineering, Comstock, MI, provider of metal stampings, die design and build services. The line consists of a 72-in. servo roll feed, a 60 by 152-in. scissor-lift table, a 5 by 72-in. HD-series heavy-duty straightener, and a 50,000-lb. by 72-in. coil reel. The line is capable of processing a variety of material including cold-rolled steel, advanced high-strength steel and aluminum. The roll feed can achieve a speed of 296 ft./min. with a feed accuracy of ±0.003 in. The line will be paired with a new 2500-ton Eagle press being used for die tryout.
