Bihler Announces Plans for New Factory

Tuesday, May 1, 2018
Bihler of America, a provider of complex components and machines, announced plans to construct a 103,000-sq.-ft. facility in Phillipsburg, NJ on its 12-acre corporate campus. Situated adjacent to its two manufacturing plants, the company expects new multiuse structure to be fully operational early next year. The three buildings combined will total more than 350,000 sq. ft.

With strong growth across its product line--from mechanical and hybrid multislide machines and machining centers, to servo-controlled manufacturing and assembly systems, and more—Max Linder, Bihler of America’s director of sales and marketing, believe it will take very little time to ramp up production in the new facility. “We fully expect the new building to have more than half its total output capacity committed to by the time operations begin.”
