Omax Corp., Kent, WA, recently increased the capacity of its training center in Kent to provide Omax and Maxiem JetMachining Center owners with enhanced training and productivity resources.

The 22,000-sq.-ft. training center features a new technology-training classroom that supplements an existing equipment-training lab. The classroom provides additional space for training, taking customers step-by-step through the process of making parts. In the equipment-training lab, customers receive hands-on experience in how to operate and maintain waterjet machines.

To complement its onsite training, Omax offers several eLearning opportunities that include certified instructors hosting live and on-demand webinars, software and maintenance training videos, and tutorials available through the company’s online support site and Omax and Maxiem machine control units.

The company also offers software, operation and maintenance training at customer locations. This includes fee-based customized training where a training manager works one-on-one with a customer to determine the best training focus for meeting a specific production requirement.
